“ We were in town for Spring Break and wanted to try an Indonesian resto since Houston has a much larger Indo population than where we live. So there has to be a restaurant, right??! Warung Indo was excellent! We tried to pick and order a variety of items, but were too stuffed from eating the food. We did take some food togo. The owner was very nice and had gladly provided us plates for when we got back to the hotel. Highly recommend for authentic Indonesian cuisine! ”
“ the food was delicious! they tasted like how you would have it in Indo! We had lontong sayur recommended!, batagor, mpek2 recommended!, and bakso bakar. the owner was friendly and gave us free cendol cos it was my birthday! they also have a snack corner that also sells Indonesian spices and condiments. ”
“ Its my second time trying Indonesian food, but its my first time at this restaurant. My company and I ordered the following Soto Ayam chicken noodle soup I can say that this soup broth is very tasty and rich in flavor. Nasi Goreng Cakalang The tuna flakes tasted like its been smoked or fried, and it does compliments well with the fried rice. Nasi Bakar chicken spicy chicken with plain rice wrapped inside the banana leaves and grilled. The juice of the spicy chicken soaks up the rice, and the scent of grilled banana leaves added up in a unique flavor combination, which makes this dish authentic and delicious. Es cendol and Es campus Both are refreshing, not that sweet, and delicious. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. The owners are both nice and friendly. ”
“ Never ever disappointing!. They consistently serve the authentic food in the area. I llllooove every single plate I had. They are all amazing. Ill definitely be back if Im in town. 5 stars! ”
“ Authentic Indonesian food and its amazing! Nasi bakar chicken is so good and the portion is very big. If you like spicy food, ayam goreng penyet has very spicy sambal that you will love it. Es cendol is not too sweet, just nice. Bakso bakar has delicious peanut sauce. I strongly recommend to go to this place! ”
